OKSCAN is a mobile app for iPhone and Android. The phone scanner finds the edges, crops, and straightens. The PDF is saved in the app, ready to reopen or share. No account, no cloud, no ads.

The useful gesture, and nothing around it

Native scan

Edge detection is the phone’s own: VisionKit on iPhone, ML Kit on Android. Cropping and straightening happen during capture.

PDF right away

Confirming the scanner writes the file, then opens the preview. There is no “create PDF” step.

Share

Sharing opens only once the document is visible: mail, messaging, social apps, or nearby share, through the system sheet.

History

PDFs stay in the app, newest first. Each row shows the thumbnail, the date, and the page count. A tap opens the built-in reader. Deletion asks for confirmation.

Touch-ups

Afterwards: rotate, color, grayscale, black and white. The same treatment can apply to every page, or to one. Saving replaces that PDF. Leaving without saving keeps the original.

Free and private

No account, no server, no analytics, no ads, no artificial page limit. Scans are not copied into the gallery.

    Aim at the sheet

    One button opens the phone scanner. It finds the edges, straightens the page, and continues with the next sheets.

    The PDF is already there

    On confirm, the file is written and the preview opens on it. The label shows the page count.

    Share or find it again

    Share if you decide to, scan again for a new PDF, or reopen the document later from history.

Short, clear, on the phone

OKSCAN asks for neither an account nor a subscription. The useful document is the PDF already saved, not another screen.
